Honeymoon: 5 week adventure through Greece, Italy & Switzerland

The proposal:  We went for a road trip around Tasmania for Nick’s Birthday, he carried the ring in his back pack for the whole week, waiting for the perfect moment! On the 2nd last night, we stayed at an amazing chalet overlooking the bay of Hobart and Bruny Island, he had bought wine and cheese and popped out to the car to “get something”, when I turned around he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It was perfect because it was unexpected and in a place we both love!

Hen’s night: Started out in the morning with a high tea at Covent Garden in West End, which then turned into drinks and a grazing table and finished off with a Magic Men show in the City.

Buck’s night: Axe throwing at MANIAX and dinner and drinks at Walters Steak house

The Funniest moment would have to be when I said “I will” to early! I was so embarrassed but Nick had my back, when it got to his turn, he made sure he said “I will” too early. All of our guests laughed and it just helped the whole day become that bit more relaxed!

Special Memory: Just having our friends and families all in the same place at the same time, some family members travelled all the way from the UK and New Zealand to be there for our special day.

Special thanks: To all of our vendors and both sides of parents who made the whole day and planning process run so smoothly, and helped with the stress leading up to the big day.

Advice for other brides-to-be: My biggest piece of advice is to not think to far into things! Obviously you want everything to be perfect but I feel like when you get bogged down with every little detail decision making is so much harder. Also take some time leading up to the day just to distress and get excited!

Why you chose Lisa from With Every Heartbeat Photography /  We chose Lisa because we had heard from a family friend of the amazing work of both her and her husband Ben! On the day Lisa was amazing! She was super punctual and made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera, I mean, for two people who are never in front of a camera our pictures turned out pretty damn amazing!  Cannot thank you enough Lisa!
